Richard Sander



BSME/MBA. Prior Rhombus Energy Solutions, Sander served as President and CEO of ISE Corporation, a hybrid drive system and energy storage supplier for heavy duty vehicles. Previous roles include Vice President of Worldwide Operations at SMART Modular Technologies (WWH) Inc., Vice President of Operations and General Manager at JNI Corp., and VP of Operations at Maxwell Technologies. Other companies where Sander held management roles include Cymer, Bombardier, PACCAR and Hewlett-Packard. Sander has more than 35 years of extensive manufacturing, supply chain management, quality, engineering and general management experience. An expert in quality systems and process design, Sander is Black Belt certified. Sander has been awarded membership of the Academy of Distinguished Engineers from Oregon State University. He has an MBA from San Diego State University and a BSME from Oregon State University.

Joseph Gottlieb



BSEE/MSEE. Prior to Rhombus, Gottlieb founded Flux Power, Inc., a lithium battery management technology company. Gottlieb is an expert in battery technology and BMS design. In 2007, JG developed the world’s first hybrid-electric sport boat which included a customized generator control system. JG holds 5 patents in different control areas. Gottlieb started an engineering consulting company, certified as an official Atmel microcontroller consultant and led hundreds embedded and control system product development projects. From 1996 to 2000, he worked in the semiconductor industry as a Senior Application Engineer. Joseph received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Northern Illinois University in Electrical Engineering. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with top honors.

Deanne Davidson

Vice President / General Manager


BSEE/PMP. Before joining Rhombus, Deanne served as eMobility Director of Program Management at Eaton Corporation, a business division focused on power electronics, distribution, and systems for commercial vehicle and passenger car applications. At Eaton, she also held global leadership, manufacturing, and project engineering roles in Vehicle Group and led the execution of the Eaton Cummins Automated Transmissions Technology joint venture. Cross-functional experience over the past 25 years includes product launch, manufacturing, and continuous improvement roles at General Motors and Haworth Inc. Deanne received her BSEE from University of Michigan, PMP certification from PMI, and has served multiple non-profit communities.

Parthiv Patel



Prior to Rhombus, Mr. Patel was Vice President of Operations of ISE Corporation from 2007 – 2010. Prior to ISE, Mr. Patel served as Core Business Unit Manager for DotHill Systems from 2006 to 2007 and Supply Chain Programs Director for Remec Wireless/Powerwave Technologies from 2005 to 2006. He also served as Senior Business Consultant for Tech-Synergy plc. and held a variety of Operations and Business Development positions at Cymer, Inc.

Manoj Karwa

Vice President of Worldwide Sales


Before joining Rhombus, Manoj was the Head of Automotive – North America for EVBox, a Netherlands headquartered provider of electric vehicle charging for home, workplace and retail locations. Prior to EVBox, he was the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Clean Wave Technologies, a developer of advanced electric drive systems. Manoj also held senior management, marketing and engineering positions at Leviton Manufacturing, A.T. Kearney, Ricardo Consulting Engineers and General Motors. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan.

Dr. Anil Tuladhar

VP of Engineering


Mr. Tuladhar has a PhD in Power Electronics (inverter controls) from the University of British Columbia with over 22 years of advanced power converter controls and embedded software expertise prior to being co-founder of EDA. The owner of more than 7 patents, Tuladhar has previously worked in embedded power electronics and controls for Statpower, Ford Electric Vehicles, Ballard Power Systems, Siemens VDO and Continental Automotive. Tuladhar has also published numerous IEEE papers and teaches power electronics at Universities in the Detroit area.

Kimberly Tom

CFA | VP Finance


Prior to Rhombus, Ms. Tom held leadership posts at Qualcomm/Qualcomm Ventures, Maxwell Technologies and Generation-E Technologies. Kimberly also held positions at Mercator Capital, Intel Capital and iPivot. She has 20 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, finance operations and accounting. She also has expertise in venture capital, mergers and acquisitions and investor relations. She has an MBA from San Diego State University, and a BS in Education from the University of Tennessee.
